Hello,

I'm new with using Crystal Delivery, so I'm just trying to get the hang of how everything works. I have used the Help to get around & become familiar with the application.

I have version 7.0.6.9

I have 2 issues to talk about:
1. My 'Auto mode' does not seem to be working. I have 1 report (as a test) that I have scheduled to run 'On day 15 of every month'. When I am in 'Manual mode' & click 'Export', it works fine. But when I select the 'Auto mode' option, it doesn't run as scheduled.
I'm not sure what I'm missing here or what to look for.

2. The same version is installed on another machine & we have 10 reports scheduled to run on different dates/times.
Of the 10, 5 reports are to run every Friday - to be exported between 1:00AM & 8:00AM.
This was scheduled, the application was left running, the computer was on, but locked.
When we came in this morning, we saw that the reports did not run. Therefore we had to manually run them.

I'm not sure if both issues are related (in terms of 'Auto mode' not working). But any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

This sounds very familiar as it is a problem I have. i.e., reports run in manual mode but not in auto. I am new to Crystal Delivery and it has a fantastic potential for me if I can get it working.

kgroff, any information about this please? Do you need a log script?

I just tried to run 24 reports in auto mode overnight, and I got this error about 24 times:

21/05/2008 06:46:29
Messasge: Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {9833C090-AED0-4EA6-98FB-5A4509EF7446} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 8007000e.
Source: Crystal Delivery
Stack Trace: at CrystalDelivery.frmMain.fncCheckAlerts(String ReportSettingsInfo, String strCheckReport, Int32 intRow, Boolean booWeek, Boolean booTime, Boolean booHistory)
Target Site: Boolean fncCheckAlerts(System.String, System.String, Int32, Boolean, Boolean, Boolean)

Any idea what is causing this?

Thanks
